Greygum Psychology was founded by Lydia Sandosam, a Newcastle psychologist dedicated to providing accessible, evidence-based care. Established to meet the growing need for mental health support, our clinic offers a safe, inclusive space focused on personalised, compassionate treatment for individuals and families.

Lydia is a Newcastle psychologist, providing evidence-based therapy for trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.

She specialises in trauma-focused approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and has completed additional training in ASSYST (early intervention EMDR), with further training in RI-EMDR. Lydia is also undertaking a PhD focused on EMDR and birth trauma.

Lydia works with adults, adolescents, and families, supporting clients with complex presentations, complex diagnostic assessments, and life transitions. Her approach is practical, compassionate, and tailored to each individual.

Appointments are available in Newcastle and via telehealth across Australia.
