Why do it?

Completing an ADHD assessment can help individuals develop specalised treatment plans that may assist in higher education and workplace settings. They also may provide an opportunity to pursue medication with confirmation from their General Practitioner.

Child assessments assist families and educators understand a child’s learning and behavioural needs, access school adjustments, and implement strategies to improve attention and organisation. In some cases, assessments may also support applications for NDIS services or other learning support programs.

Autism Assessment

ASD assessments evaluate social communication, behaviour patterns, sensory processing, and adaptive skills. Early identification and support significantly improve social, academic, and emotional outcomes.

For all ages above 5 years

For children, an early diagnosis helps families understand their child’s needs and access the right supports. It allows schools to put effective strategies in place, and opens the door to therapies, resources, and funding that can make a real difference during key stages of development.

For adults, an assessment can offer clarity and validation, especially for those who may have spent years feeling “different” without knowing why. A diagnosis can support better self-understanding, guide mental health care, and provide access to workplace adjustments, NDIS funding, or community supports.

Whether completed in childhood or adulthood, an ASD assessment helps people understand themselves more fully, while giving families and professionals the tools to provide the right support.

Cognitive Assessment

Cognitive assessments evaluate thinking, learning, memory, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities. These assessments provide insight into a child’s learning profile and help identify challenges and strengths.

Assessment Details

Assessment Process

  • Administration of standardised IQ and cognitive tests (e.g., WISC-V)

  • Academic achievement testing in reading, writing, and mathematics (e.g., WIAT-III)

  • Assessment of executive functioning skills, attention, and processing speed

  • Review of developmental and educational history

  • Comprehensive report with strategies to support learning at school and home

Who is it for?

Why do it?

For all ages above 6 years

For children, it can clarify learning difficulties or giftedness and guide schools in providing the right support. For adults, it can explain challenges with memory, attention, or problem-solving, and provide evidence for workplace or university adjustments.

In both cases, a cognitive assessment offers clear answers and practical recommendations to support learning, performance, and everyday life.
